Work for 16 Year Olds, What jobs are hiring

I am looking for work for 16 year olds who are out of school this summer. What jobs are hiring? I want to work somewhere like McDonald's, Burger King, or Taco Bell. When I check online they always want me to fill out this super long application, and then there is still no guarantee a person will ever look at my app.

It is June already, and I don't want to spend this summer broke and in the house with my kid sister. Should I continue to just keep filling out there employment requests, or go down in person to.

I would really like to work in a nice, cool office building. I have a temp agency not too far from me, but they only accept applications from people 18 and older. I will be 17 in September, but that doesn't help me now. Any suggestions?
