Hi, my name is Sarai Gilliam. I am a 17 year old firl and in my last year of high school. I am currently looking for a job this summer involving babysitting. I have been baby sitting my nieces, nephews, and cousins since I was 11.

I am great with kids and I'm really active and punctual. I am always available after school after 2:30. I have babysat infants to 16yr olds. Where Another Teenager Found a Job

When I was a 17 yr old I had probably the best summer jobs ever. I worked at a golf course. It doesn't sound to amazing but for a teenager it was paradise. I had to work 1pm to 8 pm Monday and Tuesday. 10am to 4pm Wednesday and Thursday. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I worked from 2pm to 8pm. I had to park golf carts, clean golf clubs and carts. I also helped carry golf bags and prepared food at the clubhouse. There was even a time I had to try and find a diamond ring that was lost on the 8th green. I finally found the ring after 2 hours of looking with a metal detector. I was making around 8.50 an hour working a amazing job. It seemed like alot at the time but now looking back on it, it wasn't to much. At first my mom drove me to work before I was able to save enough money up to buy a car. I used alot of my money on gas and insurance. Any extra money I had I usually bought fast food or new clothes. I tried to save money up for college but it's hard to save money for something when you want stuff immediately and not wait until later.

There was a time that I was working almost 12 hour days for a week straight because of the other people I work with were sick. That was probably the hardest I've worked during a week. I made really good money that week and bought my mom flowers and took her out to dinner because she drove me to work for the longest time. I loved working summer jobs for 17 year olds as a teen.
