I'm looking for jobs for teens in Houston, Texas. I am a teenager, but I will work hard because i am a hardworking person. Where can I find work?

Hi Tiqua. You didn't say exactly how old or young you are, but there are many places you could look for employment. Many stores like McDonald's, Burger King, Whataburger, Target, Subway Restaurant, and places like these are always looking for hardworking teenagers to fill in vacant positions. It may be a little hard right now because the economy is so bad there are adults who are also working these positions now.

You could also try going the babysitting route if you like kids. You could print up a flyer on your home computer and pass it out to people in your neighborhood. Those mothers and parents within walking distance of your home work out best in most cases. That way you don't have to depend on public transportation or you parents in order to drop you off. Also, if the job ends late it should be too much trouble to get a lift home by the client, your parent, or a taxi cab. Good luck on your job search.
