Most retail stores will hire 16 year olds to work at clothing stores and places like that. I know for sure that stores like Old Navy, Gap, Target, Toys R Us, and Babys R Us hire teens. Also have you looked in to working at a restaurant too. You don't get paid a lot per hour but you could really rack up in tips. Gratuity is 15 percent of the bill as a standard. So if you work at a place like Red Lobster's or if you are a really good waiter or waitress then you could make some pretty good money. I worked at a restaurant one winter and I was bringing home like $250 working on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only.
