There are good jobs for 16 year old girls braiding hair. You can find lots of work by word of mouth just telling your friends and family. I do this to make some extra money and I love it.

All little girls played with dolls and did their hair when they were young. I have been braiding my own hair for four years now and people were always stopping me and asking where did I get my hair done. So I started telling them I did it myself and the customers started rolling in from there.

I have at least 3 clients every week, or weekend I should say. Depending on the style the hair extensions start at $45 dollars and go up, and the human hair cornrows start at $35. Box braids start at $60 and go up from there. I even make a little extra if they don't supply the synthetic hair I provide it for them, but I buy mine wholesale from Manhattan.

So if you are good at doing hair, braiding, cutting, weaves, coloring, you name it, try going in to business for yourself. It is sooo worth it.
