Jobs for 13 Year Olds as a Babysitter

I found that jobs for 13 year olds as a babysitter are hard to find. Mothers do not feel comfortable leaving their babies with someone my age. I only get jobs from my direct relatives that know me personally, but it is a good way to make some extra money.

To all of those thirteen year old girl out there, babysitting is not easy. It is really hard if you have more than one kid to watch, or even worse, twins! I love the work but you do go home tired if you do a good job. Have lots of games and stuff planned ahead of time and make sure you ask them what there favorite activities are too. That really helps the time go by.

If you don't have relatives with young children then you might be out of luck. Oh yeah, make sure you the parents have left a choice of snacks or meals already prepared before they leave. You don't want to be stuck in a "I want to eat... not that" battle with hungry children.
