Is there jobs for 15 yrs old in Brooklyn?

I am fifteen years old and I live in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. I am looking for an job after school. I am usually home from school by 3:30 and I can work up until 8pm on most days. I really don't want to work on the weekends because that is my time to hang out and be with my friends.

I would want to find a job in my neighborhood because it gets dark early now that the winter is here. So I feel it would be safer to stay in my local area. It's really hard right now to get money from my mother, she needs it to go towards our bills and food and stuff.

Plus if I get a job soon I can get her a nice Christmas gift that she will love. And I can get me this new cell phone I've been wanting. So who do you think will hire me?

Try Your Local Discount Stores

If you want a temporary seasonal job for the holidays you should try your local discount stores in your neighborhood. Even the 99 cent store may be hiring. They are going to have a lot of traffic over the next few weeks and will need extra help restocking the shelves, packing bags, looking out for people trying to steal, and stuff like that.

So if you are willing to work hard you should look for jobs for 15 yr olds at your local stores.
