I was 15 when I started Working at Popeyes Chicken

I was 15 years old when I started working at Popeye's chicken in Brooklyn. It was a good experience even though I only made minimum wage. I wasn't used to standing on my feet for hours at a time either. My manager was a little mean to me though. She would give me a hard time if I wanted to leave early. And they ended up firing me after I didn't show up for work a few times, even though I called to give them a reason why.

To all of those teens looking for jobs out there beware, you have to actually work when you get a job. These managers are trying to run a business and they are counting o you to fulfill your responsibility and do the job you were hired to do. I am working in an office over the summer and I like it much better. I learned early not to take a job that I don't like because then I lose and the people I work for lose too.
