How old do you have to be to work at Starbucks coffee? Just to let everyone know the minimum age requirement to get a job there is 16 years old. They tell you right on their official website. So if you are looking for jobs for teens 15 and under you might want to try another store like McDonalds or something.

I worked at Starbucks when I was 17 years old after school. It was a good job with a lot of perks. You get to take home a pound of coffee every week. My mom loved it. But the smell of coffee stays in your clothes and hair after you leave so after every shift I would have to shower and change.

My hourly wage is $8.75, which is not to bad for a high school senior. If you do start working there part time while in school you will have a good chance of getting a full time job there once you finish school.

This worked out great for me because I have a daughter. Starbucks benefits include things like medical, dental, vision, life insurance and support resources for childcare and elder care too. If you want to start a career and not just a job, Starbucks is the place to be.
