How Old do You Have to Be To Work at Giant

Any teenager who wants to know how old you have to be to work at Giant Food stores the official answer is 14 years old. But I am now 16 years old and have worked as a cashier for a little over a year now. I have never seen them hire anybody under the age of 15 at my store.

If any fourteen year olds have found a job at any Giant stores in the MVA (Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia) area I would love to hear about it. That is the minimum age that they list on their official website. My younger sister is trying to find a part time job for the summer that she can continue with after school in the fall.

Overall, I like working there and I think it's a good job for teenagers. It gets super busy on the weekends, but me and my coworkers have a little fun during the slow times. Most of us have become friends too. You won't get rich at this job, but you will be able to keep some money on your pocket.
