It depends on where you live and the labor laws in your state. This type of jobs has a few positions that a high school student could fulfill but most of them are for people 18 and older. If you are interested in a crew member position keep in mind that the retail stores usually close early in most places, like 6pm. So you only have a few hours you could work because of school.

If you had your own car you might also be able to become a deli delivery driver. They pay you hourly wages and you get mileage reimbursement. This might also cause a conflict with your schedule because most of those deliveries will be during the early morning hours and lunch time when you should be in school yourself.

Once you graduate you could apply for a night baker position. You would not be baking from scratch so you don't have to know how to bake. They train you on how to use the equipment and they offer a good benefit package.

But it never hurts to ask. Go in to your local Einstein Bros Bagel store and talk to a manager. You could be working sooner than you think.
