Jobs for 13 Year Olds Contact Us Page

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding your jobs for 13 year olds search!

Hi, this is Dawn Edwards. I am eager to let others know about the success you were able to find during your job search. Even if you weren't successful that could be a lesson learned for others too.

We are here to help you as much as possible, so contact us below. Although you may not be able to legally get a job working for a company at this age there are still plenty of ways to make money.

Just be sure to always be careful and never put yourself in a dangerous situation. If you are able to pick up odd jobs from strangers or neighbors make sure that you contact your parent or guardian first. Make sure that they know where you are going to be at all times. It also doesn't hurt to have them meet the person you will be working for.

Your pockets may be empty and your list of things that you want and need keeps growing longer. You should find some comfort in knowing that 13 year old boys and girls have been making money in many ways for generations, and you can do it too!

Here's a Sample of What You Can Find on this Site

My name is Mia and I have been working and making money for myself since I was 13 years old. I started off trying to get extra money from my parents by doing extra chores. This only lasted a few weeks until I really started putting a dent in their pockets with all of the chores I finished.

Then I began to contact my neighbors and family members to offer them the same deal. I spent 2 to 4 hours a week cleaning houses after school and about 6 hours on the weekend. Before my 14th birthday I was earning almost $100 a week when shool was in session.

Right before the holidays is when I really racked up. Almost everyone I had worked for in the past would contact me before Thanksgiving and Christmas to give their homes' a detailed cleaning, which was an extra charge to them by they way.

You have to show them that you can really do the job the first time around. Give out your name and number even if you don't have a business contact card. Ask them to refer you to their friends. Don't be nosy and go in any room you are not told to go in to, and be polite at all times.

Keep all of your previous customers name and number in a book, and when business gets slow, or someone doesn't get a cleaning in over a month, you give them a call. Just let them know that you are still in business if they need your services.

Don't let the fact that you are only 13 years old hinder you. You can be your own boss, work your own hours, and make your own money right now.

How Are We Doing?

How are we doing? I created this website to help teens not old enough to work in an established business, or those who are unable to find a traditional job find work.

I want to hear from you. What do you like about the site, what do you hate? What would you like to see more of? What would you like to see less of? Your opinion does count and it will help me to make the time you spend here a better experience.

So you can contact me with your suggestions also. Look forward to hearing from you!
