Can you really go to jail for sexting and sending naked pics on your cell phone? I just saw an episode of Law & Order where a teenage girl was arrested for sending some dirty naked pictures to her boyfriend and someone else by mistake, is it true?

I am a teenage girl myself and I would never do something like that, but I do have friends that have been sexting for a long time. A few of them have broken up with the guy and have been afraid of what these boys would do with their photos.

That is one of the worse feelings in the world, if you ask me. Not knowing who has possibly seen you naked, and never knowing when it will come back and bite you in the butt. God forbid your mother or father gets a hold of it. Can you imagine the embarrassment and shame you would feel.

I want to be able to tell them that they could go to jail for doing this. Is it really some federal or state law on the books stating that this is child porn?
