Can You Get Pregnant in a Pool or Hot Tub

Can you get pregnant in a pool? My friend told me that if you have sex in a pool or a hot tub then you can't get pregnant. She said the chlorine and other cleaning agents in the water would kill the sperm. And in the hot tub the temperature would kill the little guys too? Is this true?

Yes you can get pregnant in a pool. I'm not sure abou the hot tub, but I know someone who got pregnant after having sex in a pool. Penis inside vagina sex can always lead to pregnancy. Your physical location, in or out of water does not matter.

It is best to use protection like condoms, birth control, or abstinence if you don't want to get pregnant. And don't forget about protecting yourself from diseases too. You can contract one of those just about anywhere you have sex too. Be safe.
