Can You Get Pregnant from Having Anal Sex

Can you get pregnant from having anal sex? I don't think it is possible, but I want to make sure. I am only 15 years old and I don't want to ask my mother to put me on birth control. She doesn't even know that I am sexually active yet, I don't think. So I want to make sure me and my boyfriend don't become parents before we are ready. Do you know for sure whether or not you can get knocked up by going through the back door?

Forget about the pregnancy part. Why aren't you using condoms anyway? Do you know that you can get a sexually transmitted disease or illness regardless of where you decide to have sex. You need to protect yourself at all times. Hiv/Aids is real.

And you should definitely talk to your mother and father about sex. If you aren't comfortable with them you should find someone else - a counselor, pastor, guidance counselor, aunt, older adult friend, etc. I'm sure they have a lot of wisdom to share with you.

It is not totally impossible to get pregnant from having anal sex, even though it is highly unlikely. There is no way that you anus or rectum can allow sperm to pass into or through your vagina or cervix, but don't forget that ejaculation is a liquid. It is possible that some of your boyfriend's sperm can slide out of your rectum and run into your vaginal opening.

If you guys started off with penis to vagina sex and then ended with anal to prevent pregnancy then your vaginal opening is exposed even more. So to be safe ALWAYS use a condom.
