Can a 14 year old Find a Job

Where can a 14 year old find a job. I don't have a job but I want one. I have applied at the local fast food restaurants in my area but no one has called me back yet. My mother alwasy tells me she is not made of money and she doesn't have it. But I need to pay for my cell phone and clothes and stuff.

Is there any places that hire fourteen year olds more than others. I really want to start working right now. That way I can actually buy some Christmas gifts for other people this year. Help me out.

Subway hires 14 year olds

Subway hires 14 year olds, at least in my tow. You should try them. I think that smaller, local retail stores may give you a job too. Retail stores owned by individuals, not franchises. You know, mom and pop type stores. They sometimes hire kids to help after school and on the weekends when it's busier. You may even be able to get an off the books/under the table job like at a restaurant bussing tables or bagging groceries at the local supermarket.

Just keep applying and trying. You will get one eventually. Finding work can be a hard job, especially right now.
